Recycled Water Plant

After 10 years of hard work, in July 2020, our onsite Recycled Water Plant, in partnership with West Bay Sanitary District, is fully operational. The benefits of using recycled water on our golf course are far reaching. Not only will we control our own water needs forever, but we also are doing the right thing for the community and our environment by not using scarce and valuable drinking water on our golf course. It’s a win for Sharon Heights Golf & Country Club, a win for the residents of California, and a win for the conservation of natural resources.

501c3 Scholarship Foundation

This year is our 24th year supporting our team members and their families through our scholarship fund. With our recent 501c3 partnership with the Community Foundation for Monterey County we raised $100,000.00 in 2020. This fund has awarded team members and their families tuition costs for college, continuing education and certification classes.

Green Initiative

Our Club has been working hard to transition to a greener environment in the last few years with more compostable materials, less printing, e-recycling, K-cup recycling, providing water refill stations, administrative tasks & filing transitioning to online only. We continue to try and make the Club better for the environment.
